The Best Running Man Episode Part I

It looks like I cannot stop my interest with Korea thingy. I am Running Man fans, actually it was not addicted but it is. The last several days I downloaded and watch the variety show that is well-known in Korea. The popularity of the casts is no kidding in Korea and when they went to abroad, many fans waited at the airport. In every episode, the creative team had different concept and as audience I will not bored to watch it. In the beginning, I just downloaded the episode that has popular guest stars who I know but I think I am going to download all of episodes. So, I will make my list about the best or favorite episode according my opinion.

1. Episode 27 (DBSK)

In this episode, the running man did not know DBSK would be guest star. This location for their shooting was a Seoul Art Center. The casts had to wear opera costume like cloak and mask. They should found the guest star/enemy (DBSK) to complete their mission before DBSK members found a ball that had been written the cast names to eliminate them. DBSK member was helped by people who were wearing the same costume like them and the Running Man cast. Through episode, the tension between 2 teams increased and they must find who the enemy quickly and rip their name tags off. It was so funny, I never be silent of had flat face when watched this show. How the DBSK members, Yunho and Changmin tried to find the ball and helped by people in the opera building. Of course the cast members were hard to find them because all of the people in the building wore the same costume, include staff. The cast only speculated by their own opinion without knew any clue about the guest. Actually there are several missions in this episode after the first mission about finding the guest was finished. I am sure you are going to laugh when watch this episode.

2.      Ep 38 (Yoomes Bond)

This was the first episode without guest star that I downloaded. It was because the forum on internet said this episode recommended to be watched. Ok, I downloaded, watched, and surprised I give the big applause for the creative team who could make the amazing episode. This shooting location was in Seoul Medical Center in Korea.  The casts and people there wore white costume like people in laboratory or doctor. The casts were asked to find the guests that actually were not. In the entire episode, they were confused and fooled because they did not know what will be happened while one by one they were eliminated without their ripped name tags off.  It turns out, there was a spy between them who spraying water gun in their names tags and it signed they will out from the games. Who was the spy?

3.      EP 79 (Sherlock Homes)
 

I admit it, I never watched Sherlock Holmes or read the books but I love everything about detective. Maybe I will try to watch it later. When I wrote this writing, I just watched the show and it made me surprised because the plot is unusual. Club Harmony Cruise Ship was their location for shooting.  The seven cast of Running Man were ruled as detective along with two guest stars. They wore detective costume like Sherlock Holmes did. Their mission was to find a sapphire blue necklace that lost individually because if they got it, the necklace would be given for his/her. But suddenly, in the middle of the shows there was a shock part. One by one was eliminated. The others who were still survived confused and they accused each other especially for two guest stars who looked suspicious. It turned out, there was a book and a card that had clue why the other casts were eliminated. In the card, there are several numbers that showed page numbers in the book and clue who was a culprit between them. Are the two guest stars? Or the casts? This episode was unpredictable and believe me I was really serious and also confused, too. Even I tried to solve the mystery of the case. You will know behind the scene of this scenario when you watch until the end.

4.      EP 80 (Charlie’s Angels)
 

Can I also say I never watched this movie? Well, forget it. There were three women who became guest star in this episode. They were ruled as Charlie’s Angel and also hid their identity as common citizens. They were asked to complete mission to rip the name tags off of Running Man cast. There was exception for their boss, Charlie. The Angels did not who was Charlie but absolutely he/she was among the casts, so, they had to be careful in order to do not rip their name tag boss off. In order to not look suspicious, the plot of this episode was blind date and there were several games to make them win in the end of the show. Also in the end of the show, the audience would know who the Charlie was.

5.      EP 91 (Yoomes Bond)
 

This episode was still related with EP 38 but with different plot. This was a survival game, so the seven casts of Running Man were jailed in prison for 6 hours, except Lee Kwangsoo for 60 hours. They were sued because the weird and funny things. Yoo Jae Suk because he always uses a thigh jeans, Song Jih Hyo for her bare face, the ugly face for Kang Gary, Kim Jong Kook because he was too over reaction when Yoo Eun Hye’s name was said, Jik Su Jin because his bad acting, HaHa because his embarrassment toward the female guests and the last Lee Kwang Soo because his betrayal, fearful, and unfortunate. No wonder Lee Kwang Soo was jailed for 60 hours. They were placed in separated prison and they must solving code in order to be getting out from prison. But, suddenly when they had solved the code and get out, they must go back to their prison again and they did not know what was happened. So, why were they must back to jailed again? Was there a person who make them like that?

The Fashion of Korean Artist

Recently, things that have relation with Korea are popular. Not only about Korean pop or drama but also food, culture, fashion, and tour places. Korea now is popular in Indonesia and the other countries, too. Many singer/idols/actors who came to Indonesia to held their concert or album promotion. Many dance covers also that intimate dancing of Korean idols. It can say Korea gives the good effect for teenagers to increase or improve their skill and ability in dancing aspect. Except dancing, Korea style could be seen in entertainment places in Indonesia. Many people who are addicted to Korea or not wear style items of Korea. This is because they see the style of their favorite idol on internet then they applied it in their real world and also as for their fans; they are influenced by them (I think it is not many people, but just several fans). There, Artists or idols are watched and praised even given critic because their fashion moreover when they went to airport or awards ceremony. Many fans that brought a big lens camera and also reporter that are ready to take pictures of them when they wore brand clothes. If the style was good, they are praised but if not, be ready for people to critic them and called as a fashion terrorist. Here, I will give my opinion about the best fashion of idols/artists when they went to airport for concert or holiday. These is not related who the first, second or the last. It is only artists/idols that I remember.  Here we go:

1.  Wu Yi Fan/Kris

The member and also a leader of boy group, EXO. He has Chinese-Canadian blood and had been trained in SM Entertainment for 4 years. He charges as rapper together with Chanyeol.  He was basketball player so no wonder he has tall body and supported by his good looking. He is known among fans as one of the stylist in EXO. When he went to airport, he knew how to dress handsome. He could be a young businessman or a bad boy in he airport.

 2. G-Dragon

Well, who do not know about the fashion of this Big Bang’s leader? Except his rap skill and good looking, he is well-known as the best fashion and followed by the worst I think. There are several times he looks good and stunning but in other times, he looks weird or maybe some fans said it was his unique style. I can not count how many hair colors that he had been changed in every new album released.

When I see that picture, I thought it is so weird to see his shocks that he wore but except that overall looked good for him

 You can see the unique I-don’t know it is called ring or not. It was in Incheon airport, he was heading to Los Angeles for Mnet concert and he did duet with Missy Elliot. Wow! 

 3.  Eunhyuk

Lee Hyuk Jae or we can call him with his stage name, Eunhyuk. The charge of lead dance and rap along with his bestfriend, Lee Donghae. When he was in airport, he looked simple to dress but i saw it cool. 

Running Man is still better than Barefoot Friends.

I agree with tweet from @kshownownet about barefoot friends. They are stopping to subbing it because it makes them even me bored. in the first episode until fifth episode, i still enjoying this show but when i watched the 6th episode, mostly i skipped many part. Meanwhile this location in the episode is Jogjakarta. Maybe because low rating, in the 7th, they changed format of the show. So, the members take turns to go to member's home and play game. So boring I think. Although there are Kang Ho Dong, UEE, Kim Hyung Joong, Even Eunhyuk but the show is still boring. It is different with Running Man. I am always laughing when I watched this show. The creative team always shows unique and different format in every episode. The members of the show have already their character. Blank Jihyo who are always coupled with Kang Gary.

Then, the weird Lee Kwangsoo, etc. I must say Running man is still making me laughing, and Barefoot Friends isn't.

Our First Observation

This is about my final thesis. I studied in English study program especially in education part that means after graduate I can be a teacher or not (actually I do not want to be a teacher because I think it is difficult to handle many students and I must to know what they want or their problem). Back to my thesis, my first advisor is Mr. Dr. H. Wido H. Toendan, MS and second advisor is Mrs. Olga Dona Retsi, S.Pd, M.Pd.  Actually it was my lucky I could be Mr. Wido’s advisor student because I am not his academic advisor student. Well, there were five people who became his academic advisor student and automatically they became his thesis advisor students, too. Why was I lucky? Because he is my uncle, and he suggested me to found a friend to helped me. So five my friends did other observation and I and my friend did different observation. I and my friend observed about multiple choices in English summative for Junior High School students meanwhile my friend did it for Senior High School. It is the first observation in English Study Program of Palangkaraya University and this idea was given by Mr. Wido. So both of us only applied the idea.  The observation started in January; I went to school and asked the English summative test sheet from the teacher. In the beginner, I was in difficult situation because most of the teachers do not want their problem to be observed meanwhile my thesis connected with teachers’ problem in making multiple choices for English summative test but fortunately I could answer the question about the thesis for the teachers (I was accompanied with my friends, Vanny) and they give the sheet to me. In the middle of process of the thesis, our first advisor changed planning. So, not only 2 people who did it but also the other five. He said the title and method that five my friends did will make a long observation and they can graduate in December (actually we planned in April, but in the end we graduated in August). 

So the planning changed and he said with me and my friend to taught them about our thesis. In order to making the different observation result, so Mr. Wido asked them to other regency. It was because I had already observed in Junior High School in Palangkaraya, so did Sri who in Senior High School. We scattered, Mifta in Kuala Kapuas, Esti in Samuda, Vanny in Sampit, Victoria in Pangkalan Lada and Jejes in Palangkaraya but she did it in Vocational High School. Then, I and Sri taught them about the material and gave many books (in condition, they had copied books that connected with their first title before), and they must went to regency and made thesis proposal and back to Palangkaraya in one week!.

 The process was going well and because in regency sometimes is so easy to ask English summative test sheet. In the moment, we were still sure could graduate in April, but plan changed again and again (beside, we are like ‘digantung’, we went to his home on time, gave our proposal and went home and must waiting without know when we were called, 3 weeks, a weeks, a month, three day or a day!. We must be ready). About the planning, there was one friend who joint last when we hoped we could do seminar proposal quickly (because it had been three month at the moment when we had made thesis proposal). Her name is Uci and she was being pregnant. Her first advisor actually was Mrs. Dewi Mulyono Santoso meanwhile second advisor was Mr. Wido. Because Mrs. Dewi is ill and can not do anything in while so Mr. Wido’s responsibility to helped her. I did not know how our face changed when he explained about it; I though my eyes were suddenly empty. But in that case, we got learning about how to helped person or people sincerely. After discussed it we openly wanted to help her and it must one week, too. Can you imagine in condition she was being pregnant, she must went to school to asked English Summative test (she did it Islamic Senior High School) and went to Mr. Wido’s home by motorcycle, alone! (We often went to his home in evening). Honestly, she is strong woman even when her pregnancy had been 8 month; she still went to faculty to administer about thesis, file, etc and it was also by her motorcycle.

 If I did not forget, in a week or two weeks we were be ready to face seminar proposal with 11 examiners and us, 8 people in a group. Yep, 11 examiners and most of them are senior lectures. The seminar was so long; it started at 9 a.m. and finished at 12 a.m. Honestly, I was messy to answering the question from examiner even I did not know what I said at that time. But fortunately when we were in seminar thesis, I was success to answer the question even with messy and weird English and in the end with Bahasa but I was happy I gave my opinion and answering well and the examiners understand what I meant. I am still satisfied until now.

In the end with my messy grammar and explanation above, in processing of our thesis I get many good things and experience. I was so helped with Mr. Wido, he is very kind in helping us although his tough, discipline, idealist and bad good mood character. In the past, the students did not know when he was good mood or bad mood, to be honest he was always angry and I can say he could not control his emotion. But now he is a kind lecturer, actually he was. Because his temperament, students did not dare talking or playing their mobile phone when he was teaching. He is still popular with that character. Then, he gave us ideas about our thesis even other examiners could not ask many questions because it is new observation and he said we must be proud and a little arrogant about it. The other good thing is we know how to help person sincerely (in this example is Uci). The last, we were working hard in a group every night to discussing and helping each other to solving the problem in our thesis.
