The Fashion of Korean Artist

Recently, things that have relation with Korea are popular. Not only about Korean pop or drama but also food, culture, fashion, and tour places. Korea now is popular in Indonesia and the other countries, too. Many singer/idols/actors who came to Indonesia to held their concert or album promotion. Many dance covers also that intimate dancing of Korean idols. It can say Korea gives the good effect for teenagers to increase or improve their skill and ability in dancing aspect. Except dancing, Korea style could be seen in entertainment places in Indonesia. Many people who are addicted to Korea or not wear style items of Korea. This is because they see the style of their favorite idol on internet then they applied it in their real world and also as for their fans; they are influenced by them (I think it is not many people, but just several fans). There, Artists or idols are watched and praised even given critic because their fashion moreover when they went to airport or awards ceremony. Many fans that brought a big lens camera and also reporter that are ready to take pictures of them when they wore brand clothes. If the style was good, they are praised but if not, be ready for people to critic them and called as a fashion terrorist. Here, I will give my opinion about the best fashion of idols/artists when they went to airport for concert or holiday. These is not related who the first, second or the last. It is only artists/idols that I remember.  Here we go:

1.  Wu Yi Fan/Kris

The member and also a leader of boy group, EXO. He has Chinese-Canadian blood and had been trained in SM Entertainment for 4 years. He charges as rapper together with Chanyeol.  He was basketball player so no wonder he has tall body and supported by his good looking. He is known among fans as one of the stylist in EXO. When he went to airport, he knew how to dress handsome. He could be a young businessman or a bad boy in he airport.

 2. G-Dragon

Well, who do not know about the fashion of this Big Bang’s leader? Except his rap skill and good looking, he is well-known as the best fashion and followed by the worst I think. There are several times he looks good and stunning but in other times, he looks weird or maybe some fans said it was his unique style. I can not count how many hair colors that he had been changed in every new album released.

When I see that picture, I thought it is so weird to see his shocks that he wore but except that overall looked good for him

 You can see the unique I-don’t know it is called ring or not. It was in Incheon airport, he was heading to Los Angeles for Mnet concert and he did duet with Missy Elliot. Wow! 

 3.  Eunhyuk

Lee Hyuk Jae or we can call him with his stage name, Eunhyuk. The charge of lead dance and rap along with his bestfriend, Lee Donghae. When he was in airport, he looked simple to dress but i saw it cool. 

Running Man is still better than Barefoot Friends.

I agree with tweet from @kshownownet about barefoot friends. They are stopping to subbing it because it makes them even me bored. in the first episode until fifth episode, i still enjoying this show but when i watched the 6th episode, mostly i skipped many part. Meanwhile this location in the episode is Jogjakarta. Maybe because low rating, in the 7th, they changed format of the show. So, the members take turns to go to member's home and play game. So boring I think. Although there are Kang Ho Dong, UEE, Kim Hyung Joong, Even Eunhyuk but the show is still boring. It is different with Running Man. I am always laughing when I watched this show. The creative team always shows unique and different format in every episode. The members of the show have already their character. Blank Jihyo who are always coupled with Kang Gary.

Then, the weird Lee Kwangsoo, etc. I must say Running man is still making me laughing, and Barefoot Friends isn't.

Our First Observation

This is about my final thesis. I studied in English study program especially in education part that means after graduate I can be a teacher or not (actually I do not want to be a teacher because I think it is difficult to handle many students and I must to know what they want or their problem). Back to my thesis, my first advisor is Mr. Dr. H. Wido H. Toendan, MS and second advisor is Mrs. Olga Dona Retsi, S.Pd, M.Pd.  Actually it was my lucky I could be Mr. Wido’s advisor student because I am not his academic advisor student. Well, there were five people who became his academic advisor student and automatically they became his thesis advisor students, too. Why was I lucky? Because he is my uncle, and he suggested me to found a friend to helped me. So five my friends did other observation and I and my friend did different observation. I and my friend observed about multiple choices in English summative for Junior High School students meanwhile my friend did it for Senior High School. It is the first observation in English Study Program of Palangkaraya University and this idea was given by Mr. Wido. So both of us only applied the idea.  The observation started in January; I went to school and asked the English summative test sheet from the teacher. In the beginner, I was in difficult situation because most of the teachers do not want their problem to be observed meanwhile my thesis connected with teachers’ problem in making multiple choices for English summative test but fortunately I could answer the question about the thesis for the teachers (I was accompanied with my friends, Vanny) and they give the sheet to me. In the middle of process of the thesis, our first advisor changed planning. So, not only 2 people who did it but also the other five. He said the title and method that five my friends did will make a long observation and they can graduate in December (actually we planned in April, but in the end we graduated in August). 

So the planning changed and he said with me and my friend to taught them about our thesis. In order to making the different observation result, so Mr. Wido asked them to other regency. It was because I had already observed in Junior High School in Palangkaraya, so did Sri who in Senior High School. We scattered, Mifta in Kuala Kapuas, Esti in Samuda, Vanny in Sampit, Victoria in Pangkalan Lada and Jejes in Palangkaraya but she did it in Vocational High School. Then, I and Sri taught them about the material and gave many books (in condition, they had copied books that connected with their first title before), and they must went to regency and made thesis proposal and back to Palangkaraya in one week!.

 The process was going well and because in regency sometimes is so easy to ask English summative test sheet. In the moment, we were still sure could graduate in April, but plan changed again and again (beside, we are like ‘digantung’, we went to his home on time, gave our proposal and went home and must waiting without know when we were called, 3 weeks, a weeks, a month, three day or a day!. We must be ready). About the planning, there was one friend who joint last when we hoped we could do seminar proposal quickly (because it had been three month at the moment when we had made thesis proposal). Her name is Uci and she was being pregnant. Her first advisor actually was Mrs. Dewi Mulyono Santoso meanwhile second advisor was Mr. Wido. Because Mrs. Dewi is ill and can not do anything in while so Mr. Wido’s responsibility to helped her. I did not know how our face changed when he explained about it; I though my eyes were suddenly empty. But in that case, we got learning about how to helped person or people sincerely. After discussed it we openly wanted to help her and it must one week, too. Can you imagine in condition she was being pregnant, she must went to school to asked English Summative test (she did it Islamic Senior High School) and went to Mr. Wido’s home by motorcycle, alone! (We often went to his home in evening). Honestly, she is strong woman even when her pregnancy had been 8 month; she still went to faculty to administer about thesis, file, etc and it was also by her motorcycle.

 If I did not forget, in a week or two weeks we were be ready to face seminar proposal with 11 examiners and us, 8 people in a group. Yep, 11 examiners and most of them are senior lectures. The seminar was so long; it started at 9 a.m. and finished at 12 a.m. Honestly, I was messy to answering the question from examiner even I did not know what I said at that time. But fortunately when we were in seminar thesis, I was success to answer the question even with messy and weird English and in the end with Bahasa but I was happy I gave my opinion and answering well and the examiners understand what I meant. I am still satisfied until now.

In the end with my messy grammar and explanation above, in processing of our thesis I get many good things and experience. I was so helped with Mr. Wido, he is very kind in helping us although his tough, discipline, idealist and bad good mood character. In the past, the students did not know when he was good mood or bad mood, to be honest he was always angry and I can say he could not control his emotion. But now he is a kind lecturer, actually he was. Because his temperament, students did not dare talking or playing their mobile phone when he was teaching. He is still popular with that character. Then, he gave us ideas about our thesis even other examiners could not ask many questions because it is new observation and he said we must be proud and a little arrogant about it. The other good thing is we know how to help person sincerely (in this example is Uci). The last, we were working hard in a group every night to discussing and helping each other to solving the problem in our thesis. 

So, This is our group with our advisors and examiners after thesis seminar.

The first experience and surprise I won

 

To be very honest, I was really happy when this moment happened. Yes, actually that was my first time participatedcompetition like that and I got first runner up. The competition was Aerobic and it held in Palampang Tarung Building on Sunday. It was very late because the contest just started at 12 a.m. meanwhile I had been there at 10 a.m. There was a guest star from Jakarta, she is Vicky Burky. If you ever watching Indonesia drama, of course you know her. She is actress that usually act antagonist. Her side job is Aerobic trainer, so no wonder she was invited. Her move was fast and bound and she was not tired and no wonder her body is so fit and slim. OK,  there I participated in student (colleague) category. I think there were 10 people who participated (how small of a number if it was compared with the other category) and that was an amazing experience for me because i could compete with other great people and I won.

Between Kim Myungsoo & SM 

This is my first time write something about Korean pop (Kpop). So, sorry if my English is bad. Here, I try to learn how to write anything in English. I know if I am lazy to write, furthermore in English, my mind and skill will be less. Meanwhile, we must improve our skill in writing and English in this modern era. So, I hope you who read my article can understand about my writing.

Here, i want to give my opinion about news that is happened recently. Korean pop (kpop) fans, especially Inspirit and Elf must know well about it. Yup, this is about Kim Myungsoo, member of Infinite or known as L who wrote his opinion about SM Entertainment when he was 15 years old netizen. He said, SM chose people to be their trainee based on looks, not talent. I don’t support L’s opinion or SM. Because i love both of them, I am SM fans and L is my first bias in Infinite. Also, because it was when he not be idol, and his age was still really young. But, I am really irk with people who give their comments about SM without know anything, ok i understand they support their idol, but it shouldn’t insult the agency or the idol. I want to ask you, what are the agencies that do not have good looking idol? of course, they do, not only SM. And you who said, SM took or chose people based on look, you’re wrong. Have you seen their pr-debut’s pictures or videos? Or I Am movie ? Only several idols who have their handsome or beautiful face since trainee, meanwhile the others not. Eunhyuk, Tifanny, Jessica, Jaejoong, Yunho, Shindong, Kyuhyun, etc.. Sorry to say, even though I am an Elf but honestly i can say when they were still trainee or released twins, their style and look is so weird and bad. It is far different when Sorry Sorry released, there they were good in suit. And Tifanny and jessica, also Yunho and Jaejoong of course in my opinion their look were not good looking at the years. Ok, I am not cassie, but do you remember about yunho’s tooth and Jessica’s? Now, the problem is solved. And Jaejoong is so cool and handsome now but if I am asked to be liked him past years ago, i would not received it. Years by year, their talent and looking will continue because they are idol who is demanded to perfect. In SM, every idol is demanded for their skill in many aspects, not only singing. You should know, idol group is not boy band who all members can sing. DBSK and The grace are exceptional, they are perfect in many aspects of course. But can you see other groups, example here is Sungyeol by Infinite, if we can compare he is same level with Shindong who has less part in singing in their group, but they have over plus in other skills, like MC and in variety show. So, who said idols in SM based on good looking? Because others agencies have many good looking idols, too. If their look is bad, Will you like them? Of course not, don’t be lie, beside their talent, synchronization dancing, good songs and voice, of course you first like or interested into them through their look, right? So I hope people who often judge SM or insult them can understand and a little bit know about it. I can make you all like SM artists or change your mind about them, because it is your opinion. But, please thinking before you give comment. Because it will be shame if you give comment, but actually you are wrong and do not know anything.

THE FAVORITE ACTOR AHJUSSI

As you know, many talented and capable actors in South Korea. So I make my list about actors that have old age but still look cool, charismatic and handsome. Here we go;

1. Jo In Sung.

So, I just watched Korean drama that has titled that winter, the wind blows. He is the main character in this drama and also one of actor senior. He played as gambler and had two male friends. One of his friends was son of rich businessman. His parent was divorce so that was why he did not stay with his father. Do not ask me the names of their character because I often do not care it. Back to this drama, Jo In Sung and his friend have the same name so when his friends passed away because traffic incident and the lawyer of his dad found him, he was forced to lie because he had economic problem. I really can not describe the whole story of this drama. Better you read the synopsis or watch it. He has model body; yes he is a model before become actor. His long legs, not really handsome but you will not bore if you see his face.

2. Song Seung Hoon

The killer smile and thick eyebrows make me melt. This Eunso's stepbrother in Endless love is one of the handsome actor ahjussi who makes every women love him.

3. Cha Seung Woo

The cruel loving terrorist in Athena Drama and annoying popular actor in The Greatest love. His son has been 22 years old and he is still cool in his 40ers old.

4. Jang Woo Sung.

An agent in Athena who killed Cha Seung Woo. I do not like his character in this drama because he was so weak to a terrorist woman. Yes, everybody will be weak if facing woman who beautiful and they loved. But when he was in Running Man, I love him and I just realized wow he looks cool and he played the variety show like his action movie or drama. He is too serious if I should connect with this variety. That is why I like him!

5. Park Si Hoo

The mysterious man in Prosecutor Princess and annoying character in Cheumdangdong Alice. I forget what character he played in Alice but I do not like it. Recently, he just had problem and he was sued by a woman because he was accused doing sexual violence for her. I do not know how this case continues now.

6. Jang Dong Gun

The actor senior and I know recently because A Gentleman's Dignity. He played as architecture and had diseases that he can forget incident or something that had happened a day ago so in that moment he brought his recorder pen to re-memorized his memory. I love his character in this drama maybe because it is simple theme and he could play it well (of course he is senior). Also he was romantic. Sometimes I like a romantic and caring man.

7. Jisung

He played the annoying and childish boss in Protect the Boss. I like him because his character in Royal Family and he was in Running man as guest star. I do not really know his character in Royal Family because I did not full watching this drama. It is too serious and sad for family theme I think. There were his several scenes that made me interested to him. By the way, he is going to married with lawyer woman in I Hear Your Voice. Congrats!

8. Jang Hyuk

I love action drama and movie. When i knew Iris II was played by Jang Hyuk I was excited. I knew him when he became guest star in 2 episode of Running Man. There, he was so funny and silly. Of course it was different with his character in the Drama. An agent who had fighting skill and to be honest his character was so hard and played my imagination and so tense for me. He forgot his past about his job as agent, his relationship with a woman and without know anything he became a member of terrorist and must kill people who he did not know. Well, for action I still look at Iris I than Iris II. Sorry, Jang Hyuk.

9. Yeon Jung Hoon

Falling in love with his when I watched The Vampire Prosecutor. This Han Gain's husband played a vampire prosecutor that made him had supernatural strength. He could know what incident that had been happened by took the blood of murdering victim and licked it in his tongue or he could drink it .I did not follow his other dramas because I am still waiting Season III for The Vampire Prosecutor.

10. Hyun Bin

The ex-boyfriend of Song Hye Gyo is also the handsome actor. First, I knew him because My Name Is Kim Sam Soon that was aired in Indonesia television, Indosiar. His character was the owner of the restaurant that had traumatic for driving a car. There, he was falling in love with fat woman who could make a cake for his restaurant. Then, he played charismatic
Production director in World Within and was coupled with Song Hye Gyo. Then, Secret Garden was the third drama that I watched. As the CEO of five-stars hotel and played a character that afraid in dark or full of people situation.
